4 Years

This past Thursday (May 21st) was Ben and I's 4 year wedding anniversary! I can't believe that it has only been 4 years because I feel like I have known Ben my entire life! I also can't believe that we have had 2 little boys in under 2 years!!! It is crazy how much has happened and changed since the first day I met Ben in Las Vegas. He is my best friend, comfort, and support. My life has been so blessed since the day I met him and I could not imagine life without him or my sweet little boys. I am looking forward to many more anniversaries with Ben and am so thankful that we can be together as a family for eternity. I love you Ben and Happy Anniversary!

Anyway, sorry about all of the mushy stuff, to celebrate our anniversary we went to eat at this delicious Tuscan grill called Brio. It was a bit pricey, but perfect for a special occasion and VERY tasty:) It felt so weird to be out with no kids, but it was so nice to just talk (in peace and quiet) and enjoy being together, which is important and something we need to do more often.
This is right before we left on our "big date":)

Clark and Lindsay were recruited to watch the boys. We were a little nervous, seeing how this was the first time we have left Dane with a sitter, and I would like to say that all went well, but I guess Dane cried straight for over an hour!!! I was so mad that they didn't call us to come home because I cannot think of better birth control than going through a crying session like that! I am so sorry Clark and Lindsay and please still want to have children:) Sometimes 3 month olds just do that, but really it is unusual for him. He must have been over tired or just so used to the way that we do things. Anyway, I am glad it happened with family and not with one of the little young women from the ward:)

Anyway, thanks again Clark and Lindsay and we owe you one or two or three:)

The Biggest Loser Bootcamp

I LOVE the show "The Biggest Loser" and was thrilled to find out that Sione (from the show) was holding bootcamps in my area! He is an AZ native, LDS (my husband loves to find out all of the people on tv who are mormon...I know, he's a dork), and is now pursuing a career as a trainer. I couldn't let this opportunity pass me by, so I got my big booty up at 3:50 am to get there in time to meet Sione and get a killer workout! Please try to ignore how hideous I look in the pic and my weight loss is still a work in progress, but Sione looks great and he is so nice! For those of you that didn't watch the show, here is how he used to look:Anyway, it was really fun even though I can hardly walk today:)

What's Been Going On

Logan:
I cannot believe that he will be 2 in 2 months!!! He is such a big boy and full of so much life! He's a little chatter box and it amazes me the things that he is able to say. He is obsessed with cars. He loves the movie "Cars" and always has a "Hot Wheel" in each of his little hands! He could play with his cars for hours (no complaints here) and never get sick of them! He also, is really starting to love to watch movies, which makes me excited for summer movies at the theater every Thursday morning for the next few months. It is a great way to get the kids out and avoid the heat. Logan is still free and my price was $7 for 10 kid friendly movies...you can't beat that! The theater is full of moms and screaming kids so there is no stress like going to a regular movie. Anyway, that starts the end of this month and I think Logi is going to love it!He also LOVES to play with his cousins even though it can be a love/hate relationship sometimes:)
Above all of Logan's favorites right now, nothing trumps his little brother "D"! He is really starting to become protective of him and just loves to help take care of his "D". At church last Sunday, a family asked if they could hold Dane and as soon as Logan realized that Dane was gone he started yelling "Where's my "D"?" (during sacrament, mind you) and started frantically running around looking for him repeating "My "D"" the entire time! Luckily, the family was sitting close by and Logan was so relieved and ecstatic to find "his "D"":) They already have such a special little bond and I am loving watching their little friendship develop:)

Dane:
My little smiley boy is now 3 months and is growing and changing so much every day! He has amazing hand coordination (at least, in my opinion) and is very grabby! He also is batting at toys while sitting in his chair and really starting to take an interest in toys.He also is getting really close to rolling over, but absolutely despises "tummy time" which is probably why he is almost able to flip himself over just out of sheer anger! He is now able to hold his head up really well and can even sit in his "Bumbo"!
He has been chewing on his hands a lot and drooling up a storm...possibly teething or feeding issues...I'm not sure? He has been having a hard time nursing lately. He seems to be on a nursing strike so I have been trying to figure out what is going on, but not with much luck. I may have to wean him soon, but I am going to keep trying for now even though it has been pretty challenging. Other than that, things have been going very smoothly and he just adores his big brother!

My Baby Sis is Having a Baby Boy!!!

I can't believe that my little sister is going to have a baby! She still seems too little to me, but she is 23 and all grown up:) Today she found out she is having a little boy...what else would a Rasmussen girl have?!? She is 22 weeks along and her little guy is due September 13th. We are so thrilled for her and Johnny and can't wait to welcome another sweet little boy into our family:) Congrats Ju and John! We love you!
