Aren't they so sweet when they are asleep??? When they are awake, that is another story!;)
Nothing beats the brotherly love that my boys share. Yes, they fight (often!), but they also adore each other more than anything. I hope that their close ages will always keep them connected throughout their lives as best buddies even when they are old.
We ALL just adore this little cherub (truly lives up to this nickname)! He can do no wrong in all of our eyes. We are all constantly kissing and loving on him all day long. He is the cutest and definitely the baby of the family...not for long, though (I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant)! I'm not quite sure how this will play out for Reid especially once our little princess arrives, but my guess is that he will ADORE her. He has such a loving and enormous heart! He truly knows how to make anyone feel loved and like they are the most important person to him in the world. Reid Rooski (Beau is currently calling him Reidy Rooskers, I have been calling him just Roo a lot lately too. Many endearing names for this sweet and happy boy) is such a blessing to our family and brings so much love into the home:)
This is what happens when I turn my back for 5 minutes and the house gets really quiet. I was upstairs trying to organize Logan's closet and the boys thought it would be fun to dump a brand Costco sized bag of Pirate's Booty on the floor and crunch it into the ground by stomping and running through it. Awesome idea, right?!?! You can only imagine my reaction to this and definitely not my finest motherhood moment. I sadly, lost my temper with them. Screaming so loudly, I'm sure the neighbors heard! They attempted to "clean" up their mess over the next two hours (them coming and going from the mess in between their playing and many distractions) leaving much of it for me to finish up. They ended up getting grounded from their devices for the week and apologized for their bad choice. I know that these moments of time are but a blink in the grand scheme of life and I will look back at these times and laugh. They are so little, curious, and are trying to figure things out just as much as I am trying to. Let them be little. I am trying my best to control my yelling and temper in times like these and to have patience. These times serve as a great teaching opportunity and at the end of the day it is just a mess and I need to be careful not to hurt their self worth over a MESS. I pray daily to have patience with my sweet boys and to know how better to teach them wrong from right through love and kindness. Some days are MUCH harder than others especially when I am exhausted and Ben has been working long hours (almost every day of the week since we have been living here in Vegas). But, I know this transition phase of the age of our kids, Ben adjusting to his new job, us adjusting to life here, and me being pregnant on top of the chaos is all but a blink of time. It is all about finding joy in the journey and I need to always remind myself of that. We truly are so blessed and I could not love my eternal family more. I need to count my blessings and not let the little messes of life get the best of me:)
We had the opportunity to watch Jaxon and Jojo for a few days while Chris was out of town and Julie had a dance competition in St. George. Isn't she a doll!?!? It was great practice to see how life is going to be once our little girl arrives and I must admit, it was hectic! There was one point where I had to pull out the Baby Bjorn and balance Jojo on top of my belly just so I could make the kids dinner amongst all of the chaos. But, I loved it anyways! She is so fun to dress up and play with! She is so sweet and makes me SOOOOO excited for my girl! We love watching Jaxey Poo too and the boys cannot get enough of him!!! They are all best buds and it makes me so happy that my boys are so close with all of their cousins. Us living here in Vegas, has provided the opportunity for us to see Jax a lot more than we used to since his dad lives here in Vegas as well. We love this and adore both Jaxey and Jojo soooo much!
I found these pics on Dane's iTouch. They took them all by themselves:) Such cute and crazy cousins! They LOVE each other SO much!
Dane's silly faces kill me! Such a character:)
Cute Beau Bugs:)
Such a cutie!!!
I miss her! Luckily, we get to see them again next weekend for Jojo's big sealing day...YEEEESSSSS!!! Jojo is hugging her baby cousin and telling her secrets;) They will be so close in age and in the same school year...yay!!!
As you know, Ju and Chris adopted sweet Jojo the day she was born September 21, 2014. She truly is such a miracle and blessing to our entire family!
Sweet Jojo on her blessing day (December 28, 2014)
This is the day (March 25, 2015) that Joey's adoption was finalized...WOOOOHOOOOO!!!! I wish I could have been there on this very special day. So exciting that Jojo is finally and legally theirs! I could not be happier for them!!!
Now, off to UT for the sealing! I can't wait for Jojo to be theirs for eternity!!!
Roo is too cute:)
We stayed at my dad's house and the sealing was on April 18th in the Draper temple.
Annette, Brent, Katie, and John were sooooo very nice to come down and watch our boys while Ben and I were in the temple for the sealing.
Many other family members and friends came to support the Nygards on this very special day.
We could not thank the Bryners enough for watching our hooligans and it was so good to see them even if it was for such a short time. Thank you guys! We love you so much!!!
The sealing was absolutely wonderful! The Spirit was soooo strong and our mom was there with us through the entire ceremony:)
Jojo is such and angel and was smiling and cooing through the entire sealing. Ju is such a beautiful mama and so is her sweet baby Jojo:) Such a happy day!!!
Since Jen is now the stand in matriarch of our family, she was given the amazing opportunity to help assist baby Jojo through the sealing. She held little Jojo's hand over her parents' hands...the sweetest most beautiful sight ever!!!
I could not be happier for their eternal family and love them so very much!!!
Such a happy day celebrated with so many loved ones including our angel mother:)
It was so good to see grandma and grandpa Rasmussen! I'm so thankful that my boys get the opportunity to actually know their great grandparents:)
I am so very thankful for my forever family as well:) I love going to the temple and being reminded of the special covenants made there. I look forward toe the day when every single member of my family will be able to go inside the temple together:)
These stinkers are impossible to get to smile for pictures.
I guess we'll take what we can get:)
After the sealing, we all went and ate at Costa Vida. The boys were a little tuckered out at this point:) Very unusual for Daners to fall asleep in this kind of setting. Such a cutie:) After dinner, we said our goodbyes to most of the family, including the Bryners, and took the boys to Airborne for some trampoline fun!
The boys LOVE this place and it is such a great way to burn off some of their excess energy;)
Oh Roo!:) I could eat him up!!!
Beau Beau especially loved jumping into the foam pit!
That mountain man though! I am starting to embrace his new look though:) Oh, Reidy Rooskers:)
After Airborne, Benny so kindly took the boys back to my dad's house (my dad and Benny had a fun night together) and put them to bed while me and my sisters were able to sneak off for a little sister time! We went and saw a movie and then chatted in the car until the wee hours of the night. I love my sisters so much and am thankful for anytime we get to spend together. We had a blast in UT and love spending time with family! The 5 hour drive makes it MUCH easier to visit UT now as compared to the 14 hour drive we used to have to battle to here from AZ. One of the perks about living in Vegas now:) Such a cute pic of these two:)
Today was such a special day! Sweet baby Joey is such an angel and I am so thankful that she is now Julie and Chris' for all time and eternity! Adoption is such a beautiful gift and families most certainly are forever!!!
