Happy Birthday Benny!

For Ben's 34th (I know, he is getting old!) birthday this year, he woke up to birthday presents under the tree!
Later that day we got together with the "Arizona Bryners" which includes: Clark and Lindsay, the Ruffins (Tamsin, Sam, and Emma), and Sam. Annette and Brent now have more kids living in AZ than in UT...maybe it is time to move the rest of the family down! Anyway, we all met at Rosa's for some delish Mexican food.

Ben did not enjoy his birthday song, but he did enjoy the gluten free cupcakes that I made him...so did Logan!

Then we all went to the Mesa Temple to look at the Christmas lights.

After the lights, everyone except for Sam came and spent the night at our house! It was a fun night and Ben had a wonderful birthday! We love you so much Benny! Thank you for being such an amazing husband, father, and best friend!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Tis the Season!

Our Christmas Card

Our Christmas Tree
...or as Dane would say it "Chri-ma Twee"

Our New Christmas Tradition
...and it is totally working!

Pictures with Santa

Here are more pictures from our ward Christmas party "Cocoa and Cookies with Santa." Not only did they see Santa, but they got to go on a hayride and sing Christmas carols...the boys had a blast!

We love this time of year and it has been even more fun now that our boys are old enough to get excited about it too! We are looking forward to our UT Christmas trip...Logan cannot go a day without talking about it!
Merry Christmas!!!

"Bye, Bye Ju and Jaxey"

That is what Dane said when his Aunt Ju and little cousin Jaxey hopped in a Uhaul and moved to UT. We are so sad to see them go, but we definitely know that it is for the best. Julie's boyfriend lives in Midvale, UT and was so excited to pack her and Jax up and take them to UT. He is a great guy and we really like him and most importantly, he makes Julie very happy!

Here we are at In-N-Out for our goodbye dinner:

Ju and Jax are doing really well in UT. They are living in a nice basement apartment in South Jordan and Julie already has a bunch of jobs lined up teaching dance and Zumba! Julie is also loving seeing Marshall on a day to day basis, which is great!

We miss you and love you! We can't wait to see you at Christmas time!

Thanksgiving 2010

This year we spent Thanksgiving with the Bryners in good old Logan, UT. We LOVE visiting the family in Logan and this trip certainly did not disappoint! After driving all through the night and luckily dodging the first huge blizzard of the year (many schools and businesses were closed in anticipation for the coming "Arctic Blizzard"), we were happy to be safe a sound in the cozy Bryner home.

The boys were mesmerized by the falling snow and had a blast playing in it with their Uncles despite the freezing temperatures (it was -15 degrees one of the days we were there...that's when we knew we weren't in AZ anymore!).

Thanksgiving morning started out with a little bit of panic because the oven decided to give out. Thank goodness for turkey roasters...they saved the day and Annette and Brent were able to make delicious turkeys and an amazing meal for all of us to enjoy!!! Of course, there were gluten-free (for all of the family members with Celiac Disease) and glutenous options of everything and they all tasted wonderfully and it was was hard to tell what was what! We had a great time eating, chasing kids around, and visiting with family.

After dinner, it was time to bundle up and go outside for the traditional Griswald Bryner Christmas Lighting Ceremony. The house, as always, looked beautiful and the boys loved every minute of it!

The following day after doing some Black Friday shopping and a lot of playing, we all headed to Grandpa's farm to cut down the family christmas tree...yet another Griswald Bryner tradition!

The boys had so much fun decorating the tree and making messes with all of Grandma and Grandpa's toys!

Thank you Annette and Brent for another wonderful Thanksgiving! We had so much fun spending time with the family...we love you!!!
