Baby Rylee's Shower

Since Jen is having her first girl (who she is naming Rylee, due December 11th), we thought it would be a lot of fun to have a baby shower for her. Melissa and I did most of the organizing with some help from a few other friends. We had it at Melissa's house (so beautiful) and she also was in charge of the food which was very yummy! I was in charge of the decorations and with some help from Martha Stewart, I made them. I am much too analytical and don't really have the patience for craftiness, but I was determined to do it and they turned out pretty cute...at least I was told that:)
The diaper cake looked a little wobbly, but not bad for my first one right?:)

We also had brown, pink, and cream balloons hung all around and a chocolate fountain that I forgot to take a picture of. All in all, the shower turned out great! Jen had a lot of people come and received tons of adorable things: a tu-tu, bows, pink dresses...the works! It was a lot of fun to plan and thank you to all that helped and came to support Jen and baby Rylee:)

Welcome Jaxon Jude Wright!

I would be making that face too if I just popped out a 9 lb 4 oz baby!!! But, Julie handled it like a champ even after 25 hours of labor and her epidural wearing off at the worst time.
Her little Jaxon is so sweet, good natured, and easy going. He truly is a little angel...so far:)

He has the LONGEST big toe I have ever seen! Well, I guess his daddy's is pretty dang long so he comes in at a close second.

His daddy and I witnessed the delivery and we were gripping each other as hard as we could the entire time. It was pretty intense, but I was glad that I could be there for her along with Jen and our dad. They actually had a lot of family support from both sides and everyone was really excited to welcome our new little family member:)
I actually am still here in Vegas helping out for the next few days. It has been fun getting to know this little guy and watching Ju and John turn into little parents over night. They are doing such a great job and Jaxon is lucky to have them.

Julie and Jaxon are recovering well and I am blown away at how phenomenal Julie is doing and handling everything. I am constantly pestering her to take a nap, but she won't sit down! She is just TCB'in as she would say.

I can't believe that my baby sis has a baby...CRAZY! Congrats Ju and John! We love you and we love baby Jaxon!

"Apple Cakes To You!"

If you haven't figure it out yet, "apple cakes to you" is Logan's way of saying Happy Birthday Cake To You...Grandma!!! Today is Grandma Bryner's birthday and we just wanted to let her know how much we love her and that we wish we could be there to celebrate with her. We tried to record Logan singing "Happy Birthday," but he wasn't cooperating so we thought this little clip from Clark's birthday and some recent pics will have to suffice:) Happy Birthday Grandma and we love you!

Here are some pics from the past month or so that haven't been posted because of all of our computer problems:
