Thank You, Thank You, Thank You

For the past 10 days, we have had the pleasure of having Ben's parents, Annette and Brent, staying with us and helping to make the transition of having one little boy to two just a little bit easier. They were such an incredible help making meals, cleaning, and most importantly entertaining our silly little Logan. He had a blast with them and was given all of the extra attention that he needed while adjusting to having his little brother home. We could not thank you guys and all of our other family members that have helped during this time enough. We feel so blessed to have so much love and support from our friends and family.

Here are some pictures from the past week:
Dane is doing very well and as the "Baby Whisperer" would put it, he is an Angel/Textbook baby (so far). He has such a sweet little spirit and we are so thankful he is here. He is eating (he weighed 8 lbs. 7 oz. at his last doctor's appointment) and sleeping well (a few 5 hour stretches so far) and is so fun to hold and cuddle with. Having a newborn again is a shock, but with his easy going temperament he is making the transition easier for us all. He LOVED his first sponge bath!He looks just like Logan did as a newborn.Dane seems to like his big brother even though he is constantly trying to poke out his eye, lay on him, or give him rather rough "soft touches."Logan has been on his cell phone all week bragging to everyone about his new little brother:)Grandma and Grandpa spoiled Logan with all sorts of treats! Often times, when he would wake up from his naps, the first thing he would say to me was, "chocolate, chocolate!" That's ok because that is what Grandparents are for and Logan was loving every minute of it:)Sometimes all of the sugar got to his head!Logan had so much fun playing with his Uncle Clark and Uncle Sam.Here's Logan with "his baby" that Grandma and Grandpa gave him, which he loves! We celebrated Grandpa's birthday on February 16th where Brent had to race Logan to blow out the candles on his cake! Happy Birthday Brent!
Thanks again for all of your help and we couldn't have done it without you! We love you! Note: Logan has a mouth full of chocolate, which was the only way we could get him to stay put for the picture...such a little stinker:)

oh Jess, He is so precious! I always say Im finished having children but those baby pictures always change my mind! It's such a special time. Im glad you had Ben's parents to come help make the transition easier. About the biker boots, I just figured out maybe not the most practical gift for an Arizona baby! But hopfully he can wear them when your getting him dressed to look like a little dude! I could'nt be happier for you that he is being a great baby!
