Cowabunga Bay

 

 

4th of July in UT

We started our 4th of July celebration by going to "Despicable Me 2" with the Nygards and my dad and Paula. Then went to lunch and to the Sandy City Carnival. 

I am not sure if Beau is pointing to something or showing me a surprise on his finger...most likely the later, but he looks so cute in his 4th of July outfit:)

After the carnival, we headed to my dad's for a quick break from the heat. Then we met up with my dad, Paula, my grandparents, and the Nygards for dinner at the Sugarhouse BBQ...very delish! I'm sad I didn't take any pics, but we had a good time visiting with Granny and Grandpa C. 

After dinner, us and the Nygards headed over to Aunt Bonnie's house to watch fireworks. Katie and Annette were over at Bonnie's, which was wonderful! Katie now lives in Ogden and Annette was in town to help take care of Bonnie who just had one of her knees replaced. We were so excited to see all three of them!

Bonnie's surgery went well and she has been having a speedy recovery. She was so nice to invite us over considering she just had surgery! It is always so nice to see her:)

We started the firework viewing early by watching Bonnie's neighbors light theirs

 Beau was loving it!

Then we walked over to Sugarhouse Park which is only about two blocks from Bonnie's house.

 Waiting in anticipation for the big show to start...

 Beau is a phone/ipad junkie. We have created a monster!

Everyone loved the firework show and thank you so much Bonnie for inviting us over! This has been one of the best 4th of Julys we have had! It isn't often that we get to spend a holiday with both sides of our family. It was so nice. Nothing beats celebrating the 4th in Utah:)

Julie and Chris' Sealing Day

We were so happy that we were able to make to Utah for Julie and Chris' sealing at the Salt Lake Temple. We love you guys and Jaxon so much and congrats on your eternal family:)
