Memorial Day Weekend

For the weekend, Clark, Lindsay, baby Taylor, and Sam (stayed over one night) came to stay with us. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful! It was in the 80's even high 70's...VERY unusual for this time of year! It was almost too cold for us wimpy Arizonians to swim! Some of our weekend activities included:
Logan's Last Soccer Game of Season 6!
Go Blue Thunder!
Logan LOVED having his Uncles there to cheer him on!

The end of another great season!
The tunnel at the end is all of the kid's most favorite part of the game!

Way to go Logan! You are an awesome soccer player and get better and better with each season!
Lunch at Chompies...very delicious!
Bike Ride/Walk

Swimming
Such cute little cousins:) Baby Tay is such a sweetheart with the cutest little cheeks and smile! We all had a blast playing with her!

Swimming didn't last too long because we were freezing:) Only in AZ would you say that 80 is too cold to swim! After that we had a delicious BBQ, put the kids to bed, and had a movie night. We had a great weekend with the Tucson Bryners and Sam! Thanks guys for the fun weekend!

Logan's 2nd Preschool Graduation

Logan is becoming an old pro that these graduations now, considering this is his 2nd one! He loved school so much this year! Mrs. Renae and Mrs. Kerri were wonderful teachers and they above and beyond with cute crafts and fun activities. Logan also loved being in class with his friends: Tyler, Kyson, and Joshua. Tyler, and Kyson will be in Logan's preschool class next year (3rd time is the charm! Well, I guess it is for July birthday boys:)) with a new pre-K teacher. Logan is more than ready for Kindergarten, but we feel that holding him back will be the best for his future both socially and academically. Also, he will be able to go almost directly on his mission after he graduates high school...perfect! That is the plan! We'll see how it goes:)
Kyson, Joshua, and Logan
He lead the class in "The Pledge of Allegiance"
Logan's turn to slide into graduation! He took his shoes off before and was being super silly:)
Shaking/"high 5ing" his teachers and receiving his certificate of completion
He really was on a silly kick, this is the best class pic I could get of him...tongue out and all!
 Way to go Logan!
Logan with Mrs. Renae and Mrs. Kerri. they did such a wonderful job this year! Logan will miss them:)

Over the summer we will continue to work with him on his reading. He has mastered the beginning BOB books and is progressing to the more difficult ones. We will also continue to work on his writing skills. I am not biased or anything (ha ha), but Logan is one smart cookie! He loves to learn and the gears in his little mind are always turning. He is very inquisitive and is constantly trying to figure everything and anything out. He is a little sponge! It amazes me the things he retains and regurgitates! If you get him going, he will talk over 100 words per minute with great enthusiasm as he shares the things he has learned. We are so proud of him and the amazing little preschool scholar he has become!

Beau's First Steps!!!

Our little Beau Bugs is 14 months and decided to take his first steps today! He was soooo proud of himself! In every picture you can see his little mouth "ooooohing" with excitement...so cute! Then he would bounce on his knees and flap his arms like a little penguin every time we cheered.

He is such a little ham! He loves to be the center of attention:)
We love this little guy so very much:) Yay, Beau Beau!

Logan's "Let's Play Music" Recital

Logan just finished his first year of "Let's Play Music" with his end of the year recital! He LOVES music and he also LOVES his teacher Mrs. Renae! Logan has learned so much this year and has caught on to all of the concepts quickly. He loves to play the bells and sing all of the songs. He especially likes "Three Blind Mice" which he had a special part in the recital playing the bells to along with one other boy. He is still working on his pitch, but he has 2 more years of the program to go. He is very excited for next year because he will start learning how to play the key board!

Dane and Beau loved the show!

Gilbert Temple Construction

We are soooo excited for the building of the Gilbert Temple! We can't wait for it to be done! This week the angel Moroni was placed on the top of the temple. Every time we drive by, almost daily, my kids are always so ecstatic to see it! Daners always says in a VERY loud, thunderous, screaming voice, "Mom! It is almost fixed! I can see the angel!!!" Logi and Dane always compete/argue with each other over who sees it first. We cannot believe that we will finally have a temple that is only about 5 miles away from our house!!! Yay!
