Happy Birthday Daners!!!

I CANNOT believe that my sweet little Daners is already 2!!! It seems like just yesterday he was born and now he is no longer a baby, but a little boy! Unfortunately, the "Terrible Two's" have kicked in like a light switch the past few weeks, but seriously his sweet cheeser smile makes it sooooo hard to get mad at this little guy...his smile melts my heart:) Dane brings so much joy and happiness into our lives and we are so happy celebrate another year of his life!
On his actual birthday, we just celebrated as a family and went to Amazing Jakes. The boys had a blast playing games, going on rides, and eating cupcakes!

Then we came home and opened presents...thank you family for all of the generous gifts! Daners truly had a wonderful birthday and is looking forward to his Peter Piper Pizza birthday party this weekend with the rest of the family here in AZ!

Happy 2nd Birthday! We love you Daners!

MOVING

That's right, I am moving at 8 months pregnant...I must REALLY want a bigger house! We have spent almost 6 years in our little house, which we have loved and have had so many amazing memories in, but we have outgrown it. We are soooo sad to be moving out of our ward, but we knew that this day would have to come sooner or later. Since we are only moving 2 miles east, we will still be in our same stake, which will be very nice.

Since we decided to rent (we will be renting out our house as well), we had to move fast once we found a house that fit everything we were looking for and crazy fast is how things are going! We will be moving by the end of this month...it still doesn't seem real to me, but the mess in my garage seems VERY real right now! We have our work cut out for us, but we really do feel that this is what's best for our family and future family to come! We will miss all of our friends and ward members so much and hope to keep in touch!

I will post pictures of our new house once we are settled, which will hopefully be soon:)

Christmas in Utah

This year we spent the holidays with the Rasmussen side in my home town, Sandy. We were there for almost 2 weeks, which is the longest we have ever vacationed before! Thank you dad and Paula for letting us move in and take over the basement for 2 weeks...it was perfect and we really appreciate your hospitality.

We had a wonderful time with family and friends and we love Utah so much! Here are some of the highlights from our trip:

The Lights at Temple Square

We randomly ran into Tom...it was a nice surprise!

Lots of Cousin Fun at Ampa's!
...thanks again dad and Paula:)

A Traditional Rasmussen Christmas Eve at
Granny & Grandpa C's

My Uncle Craig made a wonderful Santa...the kids loved him, except for Rylee:)

Christmas Morning

Unfortunately, Julie, Marshall, and Jax all had the stomach flu so they weren't able to come over, but we had a nice and relaxing day with my Dad, Paula, and Nicole.

Utah Restaurant Hot Spots
We had a lot of fun going to all of our favorite UT originals like: Zupa's (mine and Ben's FAVORITE), Kneader's, Hagerman's, Training Table, Sconecutter, Rich's Bagels, The Mayan (the boy's fave), Porcupine Grill, and Market Street Oyster Bar...all so yummy!!!

Our Night with the Bryners at Bonnie's House

Other Events...sorry no pics
  • The boys hung out with Ampa a lot...going to the movies, playing in the snow, going to McDonalds, and running around the house playing monsters!
  • We enjoyed many movie nights and long conversations with my dad and Paula
  • I went to dinner and The Nutcracker with some of my dear girlfriends and to lunch with them a few days later! It is always so fun to see them and to catch up...I miss my girls!
  • Ben went skiing and got frost bite for the first time! It is just a little bit of skin on his face, but he is very proud of it!
  • The boys had a New Years Eve Party with Ampa, Paula, and KJ...they had a blast!
